The Sandbox opens early access for LAND owners to launch UGC experiences in the metaverse
With the release of publishing features, players can start exploring new playable user-generated content
12 July 2023 - The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, today announced a set of new features allowing users to launch their own gamified experiences on the platform. This update is the another step toward further decentralization of The Sandbox as it shifts to a model powered mainly by user-generated content.
All LAND owners will be able to launch their experiences in The Sandbox to the public this fall with the full-scale launch of publishing. In the meantime, LAND owners who have already built their experiences can now apply for early launch. The features rolling out today include:

The ability for anyone creating experiences in The Sandbox to publish a landing page describing their experience

The ability for anyone building an experience and owning LAND in The Sandbox to make their experience landing page visible at their LAND location on the map

The ability for LAND owners with a completed experience to apply for early greenlight ahead of public launch.
Starting today, players will also be able to explore brand new experiences from The Sandbox partner builders, directly accessible via the virtual map at www.sandbox.game/map. Some of these experiences include the following:
