REVV Motorsport Token: one-month update from launch
9 October 2020: Animoca Brands Corporation Limited (“Animoca Brands” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide various updates on the first month following the successful launch of REVV, the main utility token and in-game currency of the branded motorsports games produced by Animoca Brands (please refer to the announcement dated 2 September 2020). REVV is currently in use in F1® Delta Time, and will be usable in additional titles in the near future.
REVV began trading on Uniswap paired with ether (ETH) on 4 September 2020. At the time of writing, REVV has a price of US$0.01702678 (obtained from CoinGecko), which is approximately x2.58 the opening price at launch (US$0.00666).

REVV accepted as medium of exchange on OpenSea for select NFTs
Starting on 8 September 2020, REVV gained the additional utility of being usable for the purchase and sale of F1® Delta Time non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on OpenSea, the world’s largest marketplace for rare digital items.
On 23-30 September 2020, REVV could also be used to purchase NinjaStickers’ MotoGP™, Moto2™, and Moto3™ NFT card packs on OpenSea (refer to the announcement dated 23 September 2020).
REVV on the Flow blockchain by Dapper Labs
On 22 September 2020, Animoca Brands announced that it is collaborating with Dapper Labs to onboard REVV to Flow, a next-generation blockchain being developed to deliver optimized gaming and entertainment experiences (refer to the announcement dated 22 September 2020).
F1® Delta Time event uses REVV to combine NFTs and DeFi yield mechanics
The Elite League Time Trial is a F1® Delta Time special event that uses REVV to combine DeFi, NFTs, and skill-based gaming, offering a base prize pool of 1.6 million REVV plus yields. Players stake REVV tokens to enter the 14-day racing event and use their car and driver non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to compete against other players in a series of time trial races. All participants in the event will receive guaranteed rewards in REVV in amounts determined by their gameplay performance (refer to the announcement dated 1 October 2020). At the time of writing, over 17 million REVV tokens have been staked for participation in the event.
REVV welcomes pro racer Matt Solomon
The REVV project announced that it has hired Matt Solomon, the former Formula 3®, Formula Masters China Series (FMCS), and GT3 racer, as in-house racing specialist. Matt contributes his knowledge and experience in professional racing and assists in the development of the REVV project and of related Animoca Brands motorsports blockchain projects, including F1® Delta Time (refer to the announcement dated 8 October 2020).

REVV AMA sessions
Animoca Brands participated in various well-received Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions on the Telegram messaging app to answer questions about the REVV token, during which participants posed questions to the management of Animoca Brands and the REVV project heads. Research: Genesis Block on REVV
On 23 September 2020, Genesis Block, a leading over the counter (OTC) trading center for digital assets, published an independent research report on REVV. Genesis Block concluded that REVV “has a lot of potential especially given its initial success already seen on F1® Delta Time and very soon with MotoGP. The platform will definitely continue to grow, with more projects in the pipeline.“
REVV: the token for motorsports games
REVV is the ERC-20 utility token that serves as the primary currency in certain blockchain games developed and published by Animoca Brands. REVV is designed to enable true digital ownership of game assets, giving players freedom and control over in-game property - most of which is tokenized. Supporting games include F1® Delta Time (partly available in beta stage), an upcoming blockchain game based on MotoGP™ (initial features releasing in Q4 2020), and a third blockchain game based on a global racing franchise that will be announced soon.
REVV supporting games will be connected by a shared economy made possible by the REVV token, which is designed to be the currency of purchase, utility, and action for multiple game titles.
In addition to true digital ownership, REVV will power other innovative features not previously seen in games based on motorsports intellectual properties. For example, players will be able to earn REVV through gameplay (play-to-earn), and earn a dividend of REVV for NFTs that they own (for details see F1® Delta Time car NFT staking), including for their ownership of race track NFTs.
The REVV Smart Contract was fully audited by CertiK Foundation, a technology-led blockchain security company founded by computer science professors from Yale University and Columbia University established to prove the security and correctness of smart contracts and blockchain protocols. CertiK Foundation rated the REVV and ERC Base Dependency Contracts a “very high confidence” security level. The final Certik report is available here.
