Results of General Meeting voting; strategy presentation; NFT for shareholders
24 December 2021 – Animoca Brands Corporation Limited wishes to provide shareholders with an update regarding the general meeting held at 9.30 a.m. (AEDT) on 22 December 2021 via Zoom.
Voting results
The voting results are appended to this announcement and comprise proxy votes and votes polled during the course of the virtual meeting. A final table collates both proxies and poll votes. All discretionary votes were voted by the Chairman in favour of each resolution. For purposes of complete disclosure, the Company has noted that Automic, the share registrar for the Company, revoked 20,000 proxy votes which were cast in favour of all resolutions by a shareholder in its final count of voting.
ERRATUM: When compiling the Exclusions for Voting, the Company identified a misstatement in the number of shares held both directly and indirectly by Mr Yat Siu. The Explanatory Memorandum to the Notice of Meeting stated in resolutions 6, 7, 9 and 10 that Mr Siu held directly and indirectly 70,537,111 fully paid ordinary shares in the Company. The actual direct and indirect holding of Mr Siu determined by examination of the share register is 64,558,255. The board of directors concluded that the misstatement in the Notice of Meeting was not material and would not have had any impact on the outcome of voting for resolutions 6, 7, 9 and 10.

NFT to commemorate “Unicorn” milestone
Shareholders of Animoca Brands are eligible to register for a special edition “Monoceros” non-fungible token (NFT) issued by Animoca Brands to commemorate the occasion of the Company reaching a valuation of US$1 billion (see announcement of 13 May 2021).

The NFTs will be delivered to the approved wallets of qualified shareholders in early 2022.
