Phantom Galaxies “Astrafite Rush” play-and-earn event starts 4 November 2022
Top 10,000 players will earn Astrafer tokens during the event
3 November 2022 — Animoca Brands, the company advancing digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, and its subsidiary Blowfish Studios, an award-winning Sydney-based game developer and publisher, today announced that the first ever Phantom Galaxies’ play-and-earn event “Astrafite Rush” starts 4 November 2022 at 12 a.m. (UTC).
Phantom Galaxies is an open-world mech combat game currently in public Alpha release. As one of the first blockchain-based game titles with AAA scope and quality, Phantom Galaxies is attracting both traditional gaming enthusiasts as well as Web3 natives. Four episodes of the Alpha version are available now.

Astrafite Rush play-and-earn event details
Astrafite Rush is the first Phantom Galaxies play-and-earn event. Players will race against time mining precious Astrafite and defeating fanatical Fire Dancer pirates to earn Astrafer tokens (ASTRAFER), the official governance and utility token for Phantom Galaxies.
Players must own at least one Phantom Galaxies’ Origin Collection NFT, install Phantom Galaxies, and complete Episodes 1 to 3 of the game in order to participate in the play-and-earn event.
Astrafite Rush will take place across 6 "Cycles" over 6 weeks, each running from Friday at 12 a.m. (UTC) to the following Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. (UTC).
At the end of each Cycle, players must visit the official Phantom Galaxies - Astrafite Rush webpage to save their progress. This webpage is also where players can track their progress and claim rewards after the end of the event.
ASTRAFER rewards
For each Cycle, all players participating in the event are ranked on a leaderboard based on their progress on the objectives of mining Astrafite and defeating Fire Dancers.
All players who rank in the top 10,000 on the leaderboard will receive Astrafer tokens with the amount based on their final position. Holders of Planet Genesis Mintpass NFTs, which represent Planets and Asteroids in the Phantom Galaxies universe, will benefit from a reward multiplier for the Astrafer tokens they receive.
