Animoca Brands’ GEN3 Playground consumer event successfully welcomed over 1,000 attendees to explore Web3
Hong Kong - 6 November 2024 - Animoca Brands, the company advancing digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, today announced the success of GEN3 Playground, the first consumer-centric Web3 event held in Hong Kong. GEN3 Playground was held at K11 MUSEA on 1-2 November 2024 as part of Blocktober 2024, and attracted over 1,000 attendees to learn about and experience Web3, gaming, and digital property rights. OSL, a leading regulated digital asset platform in Hong Kong, was the Diamond Sponsor of the Public Day of GEN3 Playground.

GEN3 Playground embodies Animoca Brands’ commitment to its heritage as a Hong Kong-based company while showcasing the city’s significant influence in the global Web3 space. Over 1,000 attendees experienced a carnival-like atmosphere featuring gaming activities from Animoca Brands’ leading projects, including Anichess, Cosmic Bomber, Mocaverse, Motorverse, The Sandbox, and Snaky Cat and Crazy Rush Heroes from TOWER Ecosystem. Attendees also had a chance to explore the latest developments from Animoca Brands’ partners, including OSL, Anime Foundation, Apeiron, and Bad Egg Co.
